7/18

Fished North Broward today.

Snook where thick off the beach just North of Anglins Pier.

Giant schools!

They turned down, \
Pilchards
Croaker
Pin fish
mullet
Sand perch
dead Bait

The only thing I did not have was some live shrimp, so they turned down a DOA I threw.

Will be Snook doggin tomorrow, we'll see what happens

Last night I had the pleasure of taking out some a very cool repeat client.
Chris Nunos ( From the Miami Ink TV show) and i met last year when doing a Miami Ink episode, we caught a couple of nice Tarpon so the episode was a success. This guy is really into fishing, so when his best friend Glenns Birthday came around he gave me a call.
Off we went "Snook doggin" last night about 6 PM. The goal was to get Glenn a Snook and Tarpon in the same night. We chose 8lb test spin tackle for some sport.

Well this is it.

7 Snook
1 Bull Shark
2 Nice snapper
1 Tarpon

Not bad on 8lb and not bad after a skunking the night before,

Tonight was a weird night. It started this morning when I started getting ready for my afternoon trip, it was so hot I wondered if any fish would eat?. Aabout 2 hours later a guy that I have been wanting to take fishing for a while now had to suddenly cancel his charter due to bad back at the last minute.

I walked in the house to tell my wife, that i probably would not fish tonight.
She happened to have some company that overheard about the last minute cancelation. The gentleman( Big Joe) asked if i would take his son and him out.

They met me down in Haulover at 6:30 These boys where truly "runnin the dog"

We quit counting at 9. Most of the Snook where pretty thick for 8lb.

I can not rember the last night I had that many doubles!!




A father son team that would make anybody proud!
