Bass Fishing on Lake Okeechobee has been excellent with large numbers and some large fish being caught.
Ann Mangino from Ohio landed this 4lb 8 oz large mouth on 27 November fishing with her husband Ian and guide Art Hodges. Ann was fishing artificial baits in isolated cover. The couple caught over 30 bass and missed many more opportunities.
The fish are moving to the flats to spawn and the major spawn areas are loaded with fish. The water in most areas is clean to clear and so far this week has been excellent fishing. The cold front has passed and the fishing is great.
