Fishing on Lake Okeechobee this summer has been the best in years. The top water action has been real good the first two hours of daylight using a toad or walking a big eye shad. Then go to plastic either a 10 inch worm Christmas tree color has been working best or a sinko or fluke in watermelon red and fish the outside grass lines. Shinner fishing has been good around around grass pocket's.
Had a guide trip on 9/13/10 a couple on thr honeymoon from Missippii and he landed a nice six pounder on topwater.
