Best bet



The weekend forecast looks OK for Saturday with 0-15 knot winds from the southwest and seas 2 to 3 feet inside 20 miles - a foot bigger outside. Sunday will be a foot higher. That said, the bottom fishing has been great at 21 fathoms. If you're looking for some speckled perch in fresh water, Dunns Creek and Dead Lake have been the most consistent areas.

Inshore north of the St. Johns River: There has been a fair bite of drum and whiting in Cumberland Sound.
