Freshwater fishing slowed down all week. The forecast is calling for northwest winds at 10 to 15 knots and 3-foot seas for the weekend. It looks like a window will open for some bottom-fishing, which should be good on the reefs and wrecks inside 20 miles.



SALTWATER



Inshore north of the St. Johns River: Speckled trout are biting on high, outgoing water. The yellowmouth trout and some big croakers are being caught in the normal holes and haunts.
