Just a little rant. I guess if we're talking Northern waters, then not being able to get out in a small boat this time of year might be expected. But come on, this is Florida. Wind, cold, and seas never less than 5ft... Great. Now the 15th has passed. This is west fla. 9 miles puts me in 25ft. There's no keeper grouper since the red tide two years ago in water this skinny.
AAAAAAaaaaaand, I just picked up a new finder! Talk about all dressed up and no place to go.
I don't know how you folks in the northern states do it. Only getting out 2 times in two weeks has me close to postal. How many months do you go not being able to get your boat in the water? I couldn't take it.
Man, I hope something changes. There's one more filet in the fridge and that's it. Fish dip's gone and the smoker is all rusty. Now the feds say we can't dig in "their" waters for a month. errrrr.
Ahhhhh, there, I feel better now!
J/k really. But it is a little weird not getting out for so long. I just noticed since I found this forum, it's the pros talking charters and tourneys, and the others listening to the tales. I'm guessing that I'm not the only one land locked.
Maybe we can make this the "frustrated fisherman's" thread.
