Fort Lauderdale fishing charters continue to yield a mixed bag of catches aboard Marlin My Darlin. Full grown Bonito of over 15 pounds are biting. Blackfin Tuna are still just off the edge and the Kingfish are an easy target on the inshore reefs. Nice Sailfish today but the most important catch was this sporty little Dolphin fish pictured, caught by ”all by myself” junior angler Natalie. Nothing like a nice smile, but don’t get that fellow too close to me! Beautiful day today here in South Florida. Fishing should continue to be productive as we are seeing large schools of bait in the area and this results in more gamefish, most notably and usually at the head of everybody’s list, the Sailfish. But as we all know, sometimes it’s the smallest fish attached to the littlest angler’s line that makes the day a success
