Fort Lauderdale Fishing Report 08/16/09

We didn't get out yesterday but we weren't too upset about it because it was nasty weather all day. Today we had a morning trip with four people. The fishing started out pretty slow for everybody. We trolled around for a while before I called someone that was catching a few fish. We went to the area and depth that they were at and started getting bites. We ended up with four kingfish in the box and lost four others on the leader, one of them got eaten by something but we couldn't tell what it was. We also released a few small barracuda. A couple of the customers weren't feeling too good so we ended up heading in about an hour early.
