Florida keys fishing report
We are heading down tuesday to islamarada for Mini Season. We always fish on way down (FT.Lauderdale) . Last year was great we had over 100 lbs of dolphin and wahoo before we got past Miami. I heard the Dolphin have been hard to come by lately. Anbody have any good news??\Thanks |

The word I've had from Key Largo to Marathon is "sparse" at best. That's what I've heard and it may be different from others. Last week was flat calm but not many dolphin.

Its slow right now. If you can find the schools, you'll put together a good trip. but finding the schools is the hard part. luckily with east wind, the dolphin have been coming in closer. Blackfin bite on the humps has been alright, with 4-6 pounders airing out and eating small squid plugs if they are feeding good. stop by Holiday Isle in Islamorada and come see me on the Gold Reserve, we'll see if we cant put a good trip together for ya

im gonna be down 8-14th in Isla Morada - i know we are going to try for dolphin, tuna and swords if we can find em. I havnt looked up the regs on any of these - i dont know if we can even try for swords but a buddy gave me a GPS spot so if we can we are sure gonna!
i really just want tuna. what kind/size of tuna are people seeing? |

We just got back from the keys(Marathon)and the fishing was great as always,we had to run more than usual to find Dolphin but we did very well and the bottom fishing was great
