The Sailfish are here in big numbers!

Today we fished our Jensen Beach FL fishing Charter with Lauren and Gary and the action was great for our 1/2 day fishing charter Stuart Fl. We trolled for 3 hours before the weather turned bad and had a bunch of action. Unfortunately our luck wasn't the best I have ever seen. LOL!

We caught and released 14 Bonito but the story of the day was the Sailfish action. We started by jumping two sailfish off in the first 20 minutes of fishing. We raised a 3rd fish that didn't bite shortly thereafter. Then we broke a leader on another sail and unfortunately backlashed the last sail bite we had only to see all four fish swim away for another day.

Today we fished with Frank, Doug, Jed and Cliff on our Stuart Fl Deep Sea fishing charter. We had great action most of the day catching some great tasting fish and a Sailfish for Jed.

We caught a dozen Mahi with the biggest ones tipping the scales at around 15lbs. We caught a 1/2 dozen Blackfin and some Bonito too.

The real high-lite of the day were the 10 fish we didn't catch. We found some birds working the surface and beneath them were 10 sails working over a ball of bait. We trolled around these fish and watched this beautiful display of speed and agility for close to 10 minutes. With no bites we finally pulled the boat out of gear and cast ballyhoo on the spinners into the pod of fish but to no avail. Soon the bait was gone and so were the Sails but this is something these four guys will NEVER FORGET.

We did catch and release a Sailfish that Jed caught while Doug battled a 15lb Dolphin.

Andy and Even from Germany went back out for another half day with Capt. Vinnie Biondoletti. They went 3 for 7 on Tarpon and also caught 10 nice Jack crevalle on surface plugs. Great to see some tarpon this late in the year close by!
