![]() you could either make your own double hook set up with regular wire leader or just buy a pre made one then you could just tie your main line to a big barrel snap swivel and attach it that way. If you make one your self i usually use an albright knot from my main line to the wire then put on a haywire just because. This website says it isn't necessary, I guess it is a personal choice? its a pretty good step by step picture guide even though it says its for fly-fishing, same idea. http://www.sefly.com/albright_knot.htm Good luck with the black tips! Its funny my friend got a live goggle eye from a fishing boat going by earlier. My friend only got one bite and it just died and no other bites for a good hour. So we might try that again im not sure.

Ha, funny. Too bad ya'll didn't catch anything. A friend of mine goes surf fishing for sharks with fillets of mackerel. He catches a lot of bonnet heads that way. I don't know how big of a shark you were talking about but is that about the same size? Did ya'll catch anything else out there or is shark public enemy #1 right now?
