Fishing trends LAKE OKEECHOBEE Bass fishing was improving, although many anglers do well one day and struggle the next. Most anglers were fishing holes in the grass with plastic frogs, worms and shiners. Pelican Bay, Ritta Island and East Wall have been decent areas. Speckled perch and bluegills were biting in some of the canals.
