Fishing trends LAKE OKEECHOBEE Find open areas with clean water — might be a little tough in the wake of Thursday's strong winds — and you'll find bass. The fish were biting plastic worms, soft-plastic jerkbaits and topwaters, spinnerbaits and live shiners. The lake level was 14.88 feet.
