Fishing Trends LAKE OKEECHOBEE Bass fishing has been fair, with fish biting big plastic worms and plastic frogs worked around holes in the outside grass lines. When the wind blows and the water gets dirty, bass are biting in holes farther inside the grass. Observation Island, Ritta Island and Long Point have been productive areas. Bluegills were biting live crickets in the rim c**** around Clewiston and the dynamite holes.
