The best bass fishing is still in the rim canal from Moore Haven to Belle Glade. Anglers were catching lots of bass 2-4 pounds using crankbaits, 10-inch plastic worms and Gambler Giggy Heads along the shorelines and around rockpiles, humps and points. Topwater lures were producing a few fish early in the morning. Bluegills were starting to bite live crickets in the rim canal around Belle Glade.
