Bass were still biting wild shiners, 10-inch plastic worms, Gambler Giggy Heads, topwater plugs and crankbaits in the rim canal from Ritta Island to Moore Haven. Most of the fish were 2-3 pounds, but anglers were catching a fair number of 5- to 7-pounders, along with a handful of 8- to 10-pounders. The full moon is Saturday, so if you know how to run the main lake, you should be able to find some bass bedding wherever you can locate a couple of feet of clean water. A few speckled perch were biting jigs in the Clewiston channel.</img>
