Boca Raton bass pro Don DeMott said bass fishing was excellent before the cold weather swept through South Florida . Fishing Wednesday, DeMott and a friend caught loads of bass up to 7.5 pounds fishing in the rim canal between Clewiston and Belle Glade. Their catches came while casting a 10-inch black grape-green glitter Gambler worm with a quarter-ounce rattling weight to the banks of the rim canal and fishing a quarter-ounce Gambler Giggy Head with a black Sweebo worm around rockpiles as deep as 7 feet in the rim canal. "There were a lot of fish in the 2.5- to 3-pound class that were caught on the Giggy Head," DeMott said. "If you were to take one bait, it would be that Giggy Head."</img> </img> </img> </img>
