Most bass anglers were fishing around the cuts in the rim canal, in the Clewiston channel and in the Kissimmee River with live shiners, lipless crankbaits and Carolina-rigged soft-plastic baits. Some anglers were running out on the main lake and catching some fish, but the shallow water makes it likely that you'll hit something if you don't know precisely where you're going. A few speckled perch were biting in the Harney Pond Canal.
