Gary Charette and Mike Cashman, from Dracut MA, enjoyed a guys getaway at Tranquility Bay Resort in Marathon and included a day of fishing with SeaSquared Charters.

As avid anglers, they wanted to experience all of the Florida Keys fishing they could in one trip. So, they opted for one of our combo snapper/grouper/shark fishing trips we call "Dinner and a Show."

We first headed to one of my favorite Gulf wrecks and proceeded to put the hurt on the mangrove snapper. The guys caught their limit of nice size fish up to 18 inches. We then headed to the shark hunting grounds, where they went 5 for 5 on lemon sharks. Mike fought a monster 7.5-footer for about an hour and a half.

Back at the dock they were already happily complaining about sore arms as they made plans to feast on their mangroves at Castaway Restaurant.
