BEST BET Captain Jim Hobales of Caught Lookin Charters reported some monster snook in the back country of Whitewater Bay. The snook were 30 pounders and were laid up on a dark shallow bottom. . . . Ted Wilkes from New Jersey and Gil Muratori fished Florida Bay with captain Mike Hutchisson and caught 12 snook and 25 redfish, with the biggest redfish going 22 pounds. The fish were hitting live shrimp close to the bottom.
