The lake level continued to rise — it was at 11.06 feet Thursday — but the agricultural runoff coming into the lake has slowed fishing for bass and bluegills. Fishing in the rim canal has been poor due to the dirty water. Most of the bass that have been caught were biting swim baits on the main lake in areas with clean water and lots of bait. Bluegills can be caught on live worms on bedding areas around Observation Shoal, but they've been finicky.
