41 bridges - from bridge- .......lots of tarpon, a few whiting, an odd red. starting to get better
but still slow



Alligator Creek-......... mostly slow, odd red by the mouth.





alligator creek reef "concrete reef"- ....a few snapper and some spanish mackerel



Bay shore piers- . ...................mostly slow, the usual catfish and stingrays with a red or two
mixed in for good measure, one cobia caught, good job Matt, 'bout time.



Bokeelia - ..........no reports


Boca pass "from boat"..........a few tarpon, some spanish mackerel, and a few small sharks,
start looking for pompano and flounder along the edges of the channel and some big bull reds.



Boca pass "from shore". ...........snook and whiting doing well, a few big bull reds at night.
use whole blue crabs or cut ladyfish, pompano and flounder starting to show up.

Bull bay- - ......reds staring to show up in better numbers with reports of some decent
sized schools, few trout in the deeper sand holes, shrimp and cut ladyfish are your
best baits


Cape haze reef, -. .......slow, no reports.

Cape Haze behind the bar- .... pretty slow, an occasional red up along the bushes at
high tide, few trout showing up alon with some bonnetheads

Charlotte Harbor 22' hole- ........lots of tarpon, has been really windy so that makes them
tough to find, but they are eating ladyfish once you do, some big spanish macks out there too.


East Side . .......keep your eyes open for some good sized schools of reds in the Pirate Harbor area,
lots of fish along the bushes.





East spring lake - ......mangrove snapper. An occasional juvenile tarpon, but pretty
slow overall, an odd red now and then.


El-Jo bean pier- - .........still slow but improving, some reds, mangrove, and trout
showing up.








Englewood pier "Tom Adams bridge" ........whiting, a few pompano, a few flounder but
they have good size to them, bonnethead sharks, and trout.


end of Midway-. ...........real slow except for the mosquitoes


Gilchrist pier- ...........pretty slow and really no reports.





Gulf cove- ..........no reports


Gulf of Mexico -. . ......fairly windy this week so inconsistent reports, but the snapper bite has
been good and the red grouper have been good for the brave souls that ventured out..

Harbor Heights park- . ....slow except for some small snapper


Hobbs point- ........some redfish and mangrove snapper moving around on the backside of the
point, lots of small trout out front.




I-75 bridges "boat only" .......no reports other than a few people seeing tarpon but not catching.




Laishley Pier - ,..........a few reds and black drum, but otherwise kind of slow.



Little Gasparilla pass - .......lots of snook under the docks. occasional tarpon and snapper. lots of
whiting, odd shark cruising the bar and a few flounder along the edges of the channel.



Mouth of the Myakka river, . ........... loaded with tarpon, catfish, and ladyfish, some big
Spanish too.




Myakka cutoff- .....some nice reds in there and also some nice snook, remember, catch and
release only, the keeper reds are eating white bait.
