Post Feds: Lobster thief caught by the tail - 6,000 of 'em

He planted a wide network of makeshift lobster habitats composed of concrete and scrap metal. He cruised through a national marine sanctuary in his Wahoo fishing boat, plucking thousands of lobsters from the protected waters, possibly causing long-term environmental harm.

What a dirty SOB, that is just despicable. The guy was a full on sub marine condo developer. Do people have no shame?

    That depends...

    Rot you $#!+HEAD

What a total and complete loser! COULD EXPLAIN WHY IT'S BEEN SO TOUGH THE LAST FEW YEARS! I just got back with my keep of lobsters, legally, I might add and I feel there are many more like this loser. We would hit a place, take the keepers and leave the shorts. Come back later knowing we left some "smart" spineys to try again, and all the shorts we left behind in the AM were all gone. People have no respect anymore for what is the right and playing by the rules. Just pilfer until all is gone. I can tell you, that is what's happening in Islamorada. Once again fewer and fewer fish and spiney this trip compared to last year. Clearly a trend is being set in my eyes. I hate to say it but we need more enforcement of the regs and laws to help keep the species we love populated IMO.
