Got out of the pass and found threadfin, blue runners, and bluefish for bait. Also got into bonita about 2 miles out.

Headed on out 20 miles in 1' seas and light winds to a wreck in 130' .. trolled over it with our live baits on the downriggers anywhere from 30 to 80'. Steady hookup with every pass, twice we had doubles.

Smoker Kings, legal AJs, and 80 - 100# sharks, + bite offs, wire breakers, and bait theives plucking our threadfins off.

Great day out there, but the sharks wore us out so bad (& we ran out of live bait) that we packed up and came home at 1:30 (that's unusual for us! ). We didn't even bother jigging or bottom fishing (arms couldn't take it! =P).

FWC guy pulled us by the Jetties and first thing he asked was "did you get your Snapper limit" .. um, no. Back at the dock & folks there were also like "how was the snapper bite"... Snapper must be popular here =P
