I am trying to plan a fishing trip right around christmas time and was wondering what is going on in south florida at that time. Sailfish are mainly what I am curious about.

If you can catch a cold front, the sails should be chewing! Just make sure you have that cold north wind blowing.
Awesome. Is the sailfishing normally reliable enough that time of year to make a trip out of it? Would it be worth it or is there a better time of year?
I run out of pam beach and its on fire for sails then. They are already here in good numbers but will peak between say Dec 20 and Jan 10... Way possible to run 10-15 flags up during that time on a north west or north wind...
Give me a shout if you want to go... The callendar filss in quick around then...
I am definitely interested. I will get up with you in the next couple of days. It would be my dad my brother and I.
Yea, go with Deep! He will put you on the fish!
The sails are stacked up super thick around Ft Lauderdale during that time! Give Capt. Jeff (Saltshaker30) an email if you want to go out and get some great sailfish trips going when you're down! He could even setup a trip for sails and tarpon on the same trip!
I got this one with capt jeff last year.
Give him a buzz.
