1/2 day bottom fishing charter Jensen Beach Florida

This afternoon we fished a bottom fishing charter with Greg, Chris, Christy, and Ricky from New York. We opted to focus on bottom fishing because the morning trolling trip didn't satisfy me. So we spent some time catching some bait and while we did we caught a bucket of Triggerfish, Lane Snapper, Vermillion Snapper and Sea bass. After catching enough dinner we went to look for some bigger fish. We caught a limit of Amberjack plus a few extra to 45lbs.


We also caught some nice size Gag grouper tipping the scales around 22 and 25lbs for the biggest.

This morning our 1/2 day fishing charter was with Michael Valentine and Dale Kennedy. We started our saltwater fishing charter trolling for dolphin, tuna and sailfish. We caught an 8lb mahi mahi and caught 3 tunas and a few bonito. With the trolling bite so slow we turned our last 45 minutes into a bottom fishing charter catching 9 snapper, 3 big triggerfish, and some sea bass all of which we kept. Making it happen and a great variety for the table tonight at dinner.
