Day #2 of the Silver Sailfish Derby was a record setting day
Day #2 of the Silver Sailfish Derby was a record setting day! The 35 boats that fished the tournament caught and released 287 sailfish today logging an average of 8.2 sailfish per boat for the day. This beats the Derby’s previous single day catch per boat average of 7.94 sails per boat set on day #2 of the 2006 Derby (50 boats released 397 sails that day).
