On Tues it was Chip and myself and we were in search of snapper and gags.When the water cools off I like to throw swimbaits on a jigging rod,if you work it right the results can be awesome.The swimbait i like the most is a power mullet bye berkeley.Jig it bye some structure or a ledge and hang on!All our snapper were caught on live greenbacks on a jighead.We tried bottom fishing at egmont reef but not much of a bite going on but Chip got hung on the bottom then when it came loose he pulled up a trolling rig with a white jig and a large pink curly tail,a planer and the leader that looked like 100 pound triple fish.
