Cabela’s Speckled Trout USA Tournaments to Hold a Special 2-Day Event at Perry, Florida



Cabela’s Speckled Trout USA Tournaments will hold a 2-day event November 6th & 7th at Perry, Florida. Registration and a Captains meeting will be Friday night at the Sea Hag Marina, 322 Riverside Drive, Steinhatchee, Florida from 5:00-7:00PM with the Captains meeting at 7:00PM.

Special Note: There will be no Captains Meeting on Saturday or Sunday morning. As stated, the Captains meeting will be held Friday night at the Sea Hag Marina, Riverside Drive, Steinhatchee, Florida.

Tournament hours are from 6:30AM-3:00PM. All anglers must be in weigh in line by 4:00pm.The tournament weigh in site for Saturday will be the Keaton Beach Marina, 20650 Keaton Beach Drive, Keaton Beach, Florida. On Sunday the weigh in will be held at the Sea Hag Marina, 322 Riverside Drive, Steinhatchee, Florida.

Please note: The weigh in site will be different each day of the event and there will be no take off site each morning of the event. Anglers may launch at any site they wish, but cannot start fishing until 6:30AM and must stop fishing at 3:00PM. A lie detector test will be given to assure competitors followed the rules during the 2-days of the event.

A $150.00 entry fee allows a team to compete for the chance to win cash and prizes. Any profit that might be realized from Cabela’s Speckled Trout USA events funds our “Outdoor Kids Scholarship Fund”.

New for 2010

In this, our second year, we have made a few changes to the trail in hopes to make this the best tournament trail possible. We still have a low entry fee of $150 per team, which is only $75 per person! We also will be allowing a (3rd) person per team if that angler is under the age of 16. This has been really popular in our other markets. It allows families to fish a well run event and spend some quality time together on the water. Not to mention a chance to take home some $7,500 in cash and prizes! We look forward seeing all of you at the scales!
