    BVI fishing

anyone have any information of fishing the BVI... I am currently trying to get my permit and plan on bringing a few travel spinning rods....

I am on a private boat that isnt set up for fishing with five other people who really dont want to fish... but with that said I cant float around on a boat for 10 days and not fish... I will also have Kayaks and a 15' tender with us...

looking for any insight... other than heading out to the drops.

anyone know much about the cigua issue?

how about taking lobsters by hand?

    fishing the BVI

Let me help you definetly go to the following site:
    http://www.bvidef.org/main/content/view/78/137/

It is illegal to fish for anything in the BVI's even on a private boat without a license take it from someone who know's the BLACK PEARL (anyone curious google it). As far as lobster you even have to have license for that and if you don't have a license to cover any and all fishing or grabbing a lobster or two it is not just a fine it is automatically Jail time so take my advice check out the above website and it will provide all the info you need to have a fun Sailing I guess adventure but then again fishing will ease the pain. Tight Lines!
