The past few days the weather has really cooperated and the fishing has turned on. We released our first Blue Marlin of the season and it was a thick and healthy fish. Several others have been reported and it looks like our billfish season is starting- just in time for the BBC’s.
The Dolphin bite is really awesome ! There have been lots of Frigit Birds picking off Fliers with Dolphin under every bird. Today, Marvin on the Reel Candy, got a 60 lb Bull along with several others in the 30 lb plus range, all with the birds. On the Island Candy, we managed several dolphin in the 15 lb range and saw a billfish slicing just under the surface. We had John Williams of Maryland, along with three of his kids, onboard today and the kids all left the boat with giant smiles on their faces. Kids with fish make the best pictures !!
The wind is blowing 30 right now, so it looks like were dockbound for a day or two. We will get a post back up as soon as it lays down.
