Big Snook

I've been picking up nice snook on the near-shore wrecks lately. Had a family from Canada on board today and they had never even seen a snook. After the picture, they asked "is that big for a snook?"

I know all you east coast guys get them like this all the time but anything over 36 inches is very rare for over here.

She went 40 inches.

Got some spanish macks and a couple snake kings too.

A snook like that on any coast is nice, especially on the west coast! I have always seen some pretty big snook around Sanibel/Captiva (West Coast). I have been fishing there since I was born! When the pass between sanibel and Captiva used to have water running through it, there used to be huge snook holding under there because the current was always ripping through there!

Thanks for the report

Not bad for a west coast snook.

Everyone knows Fort Lauderdale is the best place in the world to catch big Lunker Snook.

Damn did I let the cat out of the bag on that one or what.

I thought everyone knew that. Good luck gettin' yours...
