Today was a beautiful day to do some peacock bass fishing here in sunny South Florida. Bob is a client of mines brother and Joe told him that he could not come down here to Miami without spending a day with me chasing the peacock bass. He did just that and also brought his girlfriend along to share in the fun. I met the nice couple at the boat ramps at Antonio Maceo park just south of the Miami airport and we were off.

It is neat as you meander through the canals of the metropolitan city. It is kind of like your very own VIP lane…just no tolls, red lights or speed limits! We fished a number of spots today in our 6 hour trip and caught 14 or 15 peacocks up to 2 1/2 pounds sight fishing for the spawners. LOTS of fun!!
