    Question Bait At Haulover???

Got word our first tourney of the season has been postponed by a week. Tropical crap heading this way coupled with a ridge promise to push the wind to near forty for the next couple days then ease up a little by the weekend. We are looking at three different plan B options. Fish up here in Palm Beach. But I would think our exposure to the north east may leave us too open to a nasty heave.
A second option would be to run down to Islamorada and give the sails a go down there. Not a bad choice...
The third though would make most sense. Fish the boat right from where we keep it at Haulover. I don't know the bait guys in that inlet area. Does anybody have any info as to who to contact or where to look?

Really good stuff there sir... I deeply appreciate it. The boat is at Keystone... Looks like we're gonna do Islamorada this weekend but we'll definately be doing a lot of running from haulover and that info is golden...

Both these guys are really good. Lester is more generous and reliable, but since your out of Keystone, Mike has his boat docked there, and will let you leave money at the desk, and pick your bait from his holding tanks if he's not there.

We were scheduled to do the Challenge at Bimini this week. Next up is Islamorada Sailfish so this will give us a little practice for it. Really can't do much with this wind though til it pukes out. Will work on boat readying tomorrow then head down to Islamorada early Thursday...

Our Islamorada run last week was pretty good for us. Tough pick through the fleet but we went 1-1 on friday, 3-5 saturday and another 1-1 on sunday. Pretty much out front. Weed was as bad as I have ever seen. Almost unfishable ... Eel grass for from the blow. Currentwas running south but we found a sweet spot holding all three days in 108 feet.
