ISLAMORADO, Fla. -- A tourist in the Florida Keys has quite a tale to tell after being pinned down by an eagle ray.

The woman was on a sightseeing boat when the ray jumped into the boat, WPLG-TV in Miami reported.

The giant creature knocked the woman over and was on top of her for a few minutes, but she was not hurt.

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officers were called for assistance off the coast of Islamorada.

The ray was lifted off the woman and put back in the water.

In 2008, a woman was killed off Marathon when an eagle ray jumped from the water and slammed into her.
