I had the pleasure of taking forum member (ShoeFish )Dan Shoemaker and his girl for a Sailfish Tarpon trip out of Gov Cut on Friday. Due to the nut In the Miami Herald Building the security would not let me pass to pick up Dan at the Marriot so we got a late start.
We got our spread out about 4PM we broke the line on a really hot Sail in the first 15 minutes; nothing after that.

The Tarpon pulled a disapearing act which made for a very slow night.

Today was worse, we fished out of Port Everglades today, the pissing and moaning that was going on the radio was relentless. I heard of a couple of Sails on the radio but did not see one, or anyone around us catch one.

We will see what tomorrow brings?

I suppose the fish will settle in after the next good front.
