$10,000 Top Prize Awaits Bull and Cow Dolphin Tournament Winner

MARATHON, Florida Keys — Hundreds of anglers are expected to aim for weed lines and follow frigate birds in pursuit of the perfect game fish April 29 through May 1, during Marathon’s fifth annual Bull and Cow Dolphin Tournament.

Teams of up to six anglers can register for the popular challenge. The entry fee is $650 per team.

A grand cash prize of $10,000 goes to the team with the largest bull and cow combined.

Separate cash prizes of $1,000 are also to be awarded for each of the largest dolphin, wahoo, tuna and tripletail.

Fishing for the Bull and Cow event is set for 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, April 30 and May 1. An awards banquet is to follow Sunday’s fishing at Boatman’s Sombrero Resort and Marina, 19 Sombrero Blvd.
