1/5 2 for 10 and Broke everything!

We have been working on the new Bertram nonstop latley, so I have had no fish to report. After a week and a 1/2 of no fishing I had to take some time to get out there and "Run the Dog" a little. So I called "Web-Site Mike" up and said lets go.

Mike showed up about 2, I was fixing my trailer we grabbed some dead mullet out of the freezer and we were off. The Tarpon started off a little sleepy with a few week takes, finally Mike gets a strong hit and was broke off in seconds. Then it was my turn a nice 10lb snook grabs my bait comes to the boat fairly easy then shook the hook as I watched. This went on for a while till I get a decent hook in a 50lber (Crak clunk clunk) my Penn Spinning reel completly blows the gear.

Later on Mike broke his hook in 1/2 on another 50lber.
We did manage to get a couple to the boat.

Good luck out there and be careful!

Murphy moved to Ft. Lauderdale

Mala suerte!!!

Looks like Murphy has found a new home in Ft. Liquordale broken hooks, reels blowing up. I hope he leaves before my next visit.

La launcha est muy gaupa

Salty 30:
I just ordered 6 pro-packs from Owner at 50% off retail due to the "night of broken hooks" last Oct. My fly tying buddies all think they were Mustad.
Adios,
Tio Vicente
