VIDEO/PIC CAMERA...

What is the best camera to use for inshore/offshore video producing.. something not to expensive.. I called latham cams but they want like 6k for the stick cam.. i can just fabricate a video camera on a gaff handle but tno sure what to use.. anyone with any input please let me know as i am all worked up about video this year!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got a Sony HDR SR10 for pit andf tower work, love the size and have been working with my first HD recorded video looks great and easy as pie to use.
