Update on the 57 Johnson...4/09

Well boys just walked off the dock after a couple of hectic days on the new boat. I cannot tell you how agonizing it is watching this boat come together piece by piece as we finish and finalize all the modifications. It's like being forced to not only wrap your present before Christmas, but watch it being painted and polished too!

Alas, i'm not complaining. The tower is nearly complete, the tuna tube system is coming together, pumps, plumbing, and electronic gadgets and gizmo's are all in the works and moving along with all the precision and attention they require. What an unbelievable vessel we are privy to enjoy amigos. I CANNOT WAIT TILL SHE IS FINISHED!!!

It's back to PV tomorrow where charters await through the weekend. Long time return client Bob Witt and the boys are slated for friday and then it's off for a weekend on the Boomer with Steve, Colonel, Adam and the gang. After salivating around the boat for a few days i am, most certainly, READY TO GO FISHING!!!

Hope everyone is doing great out there in their home waters!

Back with a report from the Pelagic trip once i get home and another freshie after the weekend.

Adios!

Livin the life Capt. Josh, living the life. Can't wait to see some pics of the new ride with a slob yellowfin on the deck, surrounded by a couple bikini models. Keep us updated when you can.

By the way, lets hope the Bruins pull the upset over your fellow country men, the Canadiens.

You sure have been teasing us with this for a long while now...
BTW, I want pictures of the work on the new boat...this tease you got going on is worse than your wife is pregnant and your sitting around watching her grow fat...

Josh,

I am not really a BIG BOAT guy, but I know some captains that will get a new rig every year. I know when I got my 32' it took me 3 years to get all the bugs out and rigger the way I liked it. It's got to be a real pain to get a boat ever year or two, get it just right, then it's Sianara.

LOL
