On The Up And Up...12/29

Alright kids looks like we may have a crack in the perimeter developing...for the first time in weeks we have clear skies, bright sunshine, calm seas and hints of better action developing offshore...

Most of us have been quarantined to inshore action with weather, holiday schedules, and family, owner, and other such obligations keeping the fleet within striking distance of shore and the albeit whacky holiday festivities therein...Manny and Songie ventured out yesterday and found some action with sailfish and dorado despite the chilly, green water...kudos to those boys for going beyond the sierras and amberjacks most of us have been settling for lately...

With this break in the cloud cover i'm hoping for a solid terrafin shot so i can verify what i've been watching develop through what minimal info we have received through the clouds lately...if what i'm hoping for comes true i think we have an area within striking distance that's going to yield some solid fishing in the coming week...alas...terrafin will tell...

In the meantime we've been getting a good laugh while Bogii tears through haircut after haircut here at Casa de Casas, the kids alternating between sugar induced, christmas-present-destroying epileptic seizures and moments of near zen tranquility, pneumonia riddled scuba diving excursions and whatever else santa saw fit to unleash upon Punta de Mita this holiday season...

Ironically the circus parked itself out here at the point the week before x-mas...complete with it's shaky ferris wheel, decrepit cheetahs, three legged puma, and toothless lions...if you're a Cirque de Soleil fan i'd recommend staying home...but when the normal becomes the abnormal most of us down here inevitably find a way to make it through...and believe it or not...even a toothless lion will still attempt to maul the children when all else fails...

Come on Terrafin give me the goods...the show, as they say...MUST GO ON...
