Rigging The Gunga Teaser
Any thoughts on the best way to rig this collosal teaser so it won't be lost? I plan to run it from the transom.

I run mine everyday off the cleat on #600. I dare them to take it! It will be well worth the cost of the teaser to have one taken. Mine get beat around a lot!! But no one has taken it. YET!

Rig that baby with a pair of Roddy Hays widowmakers on 600# fluoro and pony her up with a 130 bendy straight off the rod tip...if and when something comes up and wants to make away with that you're going to wish you had hooks in it believe me...

Go Big...
Try a 1050kg (2300lb) large shackle and Roddy's 14/0 180s on 650lb XHard. The shackle allows you to run your teaser armed off the rod tip or unarmed off a cleat. If you can arm it, arm it. If you raise a big girl on your teaser you'll want to stick her.

Buy 2 at a time and Match the Hatch...
It depends on what you are trying to accomplish with your big teaser...If it's big fish, don't cleat it off they can break anything and will. Best bet is to have it on a teaser reel that will allow line to be taken and give you a tool to switch the fish to a pitch bait.
Just remember, you should have a pitch bait to match the hatch...If they're trying to eat a big black and purple Gunga Teaser, make sure you have a 5lb. Skip Jack rigged up for a pitch bait to switch REALLY big fish. 200 lb. fish will pound this thing as well, so keep a Ballyhoo ready to go too... Don't worry about losing it YOU WILL...Black or Blue...Buy them two at a time...
