Johnny,
thanks for the great coverage. We pulled the high speed lure on the way out and back in today. It scared the hell out of the flyers !!!! they were gettting out of the way. It pulled like a dream but never came tight, always next time, can't wait. I'll let you know when it happens, we have some prime Wahoo fishing coming up.
See you guys on Friday, looks like a blow day for me.

Troy

Day Four..Final Day

Small group of boats out today..between 6-16 we hear.
Winds blowing and 6-9 out there last count..
Box is one of them fishing TODAY... He needs a big girl to do any damage..

Cool short story, couple local charter guys came to booth (not fishing tournament) and we got them into a few Marlin Magic Lures... Fished them Yesterday and BOOM! 450lb Blue Marlin on The Marlin Magic Ruckus for his charter! RAN INTO HIM AT MO'S LAST NIGHT AND HE WAS CELEBRATING BIG!

WHO WOULD OF THOUGHT YOU CAN CATCH A MARLIN IN NC WITH NO MEAT

Some shots of leader boards and the fleet in the harbor on day four, banquet and awards tonight.

UPDATE

5:52 Report last day...

Handfull of boats went out, believe a couple came back early as conditions where rough..
Nothing to report at this time, most rumors are that no fish coming to scales today so this morning's results may hold??

BUT YOU NEVER KNOW WHO'S PLAYING POSSUM??

Hopefully I will have something to report and show soon...

Thanks for checking out the Melton Thread on Pirates Cove and glad to help out John and the site at this year's Pirate Cove Tournament, next year we want John here, this posting takes allot of time ..
