This is one of my all-time favorite tuna photos...no wonder the Hawaiians called them "AHI" (fire)!!!!
This is a 200+ pounder coming up to leader and the way the surface distorted the fish is CREEPY! AHIIIIIIIIII!!!!

An ignominious end to a great creature. I know we fish for sharks, and some of us kill and eat them, but something in this photo precludes it from being just another dead fish shot and hopefully will evoke in you all the same feeling of sadness I felt when I first saw it - they say a picture is worth a thousand words, I feel this picture tells the story of a thousand years of man against fish.
