Guys, she is powered by a pair of 2003 3126B Cats. She only has about 400hrs. on brand new engines/gears/shafts. She cruises 25kts easy and tops out about 30-31. We ran the boat from Jacksonville to Palm Beach and took the engines and all running gear out. We are doing a major (except engines) that will include new paint inside/out, new generator, new wiring, new interior, new Release Fighter and helm and a new set of Rupps. Also converting the cockpit bulkhead boxes to drink boxes and tackle center. Neat thing about this boat is that it has a solid glass hull as opposed to all wood for most 37 Merritts. This boat is also really much wider than a regular 37 as well. She is pretty flat in the back and really manuevers. Can't wait to fight some big blue's from her. Anyone interested in fishing with us drop me an email. I will post some more photos as the work progresses.

She looks dressed nice as it is...
I was looking at one in Mexico that was banged up from a hurricane. Even where she wasn't banged up she looked nowhere near as pristine as yours does already...

NICE RIG

I agree she looks great as she is. I know Merritt built a good boat. I'm sure she'll raise em. If anybody is looking for a fixer. There's a Whittaker thats been abandoned here. Shes hauled up at Outerbanks marine on Wanchese, N. C. and I'm sure she can had cheap. She has a plaque that says something about Hemmingway in the salon. Think she has a big history. Would make somebody a nice rig. Some one just got Ommie Tillets Old Sportsman for around 40!
