General Rule for skirting lures?
What is the general rule for skirting trolling lures - Lighter color skirts inside of darker ones, or darker colors inside of the lighter ones?? Or are there no rules at all?
-Thanks |

Darker outer skirt creates a silhouette and lighter inner creates contrast. Popular choices are darker patterns on the corners to contrast the propwash. Brighter patterns on the riggers out in the clear water. Meltons has something like 80 skirt colors, that's 6400 possible combinations.
