900 lbs. in Kona Very Routine!!!!!
The Monkey Biz boyz demolished the meaing of 900 in the last 7 days first with a 948 then with another 900 plus...Man it's good to be good...err great.
Capt. Erick is too humble, when he walked in our store he was almost apologetic!! You can reach these guys through the Charter Desk @ (888) 566 -2487...Make sure your very clear about them catching two 900 lb. fish in one week... Oh and we released our third Thresher over 900 tonite....Not even worthy of being mentioned here, but I am too tired to start another thread, plus I want to piggy back on the Monkey Biz boyz cred... Cool closing note, I think I can tell how big Threshers are by how much my hand swells after leadering them...The bear paw feels a pound heavier and needs a special icing regiment involving colderest beers... This thing did switch backs for an hour trying to convince us it was a Broadbill...Crazy fish.... P.S. Don't fish Kona, HI the big fish are far to difficult and cause all kinds of problems for vacationing anglers...

It just keeps going
Continuing on what Tim reported.
the big girls have been biting for nearly a month now. There have been fish of 500+ caught just about everyday for the past 4 weeks. Waiting for my turn. Seems if I turn right, they bite left I zig, they zag. But great action. Its exciting leaving the harbor for every trip right now. The anticipation of seeing a BIG girl coming in for a snack....
