57 Feet Of Pleasure...5/20

Suffice it to say i am considerably overwhelmed by the tangible tribute to all things amazing and marvelous that is at this very moment taking shape before me. Without tapping too much of the sap that i am saving for other literary efforts i will say that i am humbled, thankful, and above all else EXTREMELY GRATEFUL for the opportunity that has become a very real, although arguably dreamlike, reality.

57 feet of precocious wonderment is at this moment curing, drying, twitching, scratching, and otherwise gnawing at her moorings here in Palm Beach, and it is literally giving me ulcers watching her wait.

I found myself at one point this afternoon running my bare hands along her smooth, conditioned hull...closing my eyes and pressing my scruffy, sweaty cheek against her cool, ice blue bosom...closing out the sounds of creation around me...silencing the world with one deep inhalation, and chanting to the spirits that lay dormant within her...

"Ssssshhhhhhhh.....kitty....ssssshhhhhhhh.....

Soon my love....soon....soon enough...."

Yes i am going MAD.

YOU BETTER BELIEVE I'M LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!

The countdown is on amigos...START THE KETTLE.

AND FOR GODSAKES KEEP IT HOT!!!

Life is funny how it offers up wonderful opportunities at various times. It is nice to be in the right place when things come together. The timing is the key. You have to be ready to except those opportunities into your life at the precise instance they arrive. You have received a gift that many will only dream about. Take in every moment and enjoy the hell out of it. Best of luck with things!

Did you try and ring me today, Josh ? If so, apologies for not answering. The wee 20-month old has hidden my phone the last couple of days and it's out of battery and won't ring ! Drop me a pm if you're still in town and I'll call you on another number - I have lots of toys here now for you to take away play with ! Just hide the damn things deep in the bilges so no one finds 'em !

Nice boat, by the way !

EAST MEETS WEST

Boat looks sick J.....love the riggers mounted up nice and high.Gotta be able to sprint up to the bow and do some casting. Are you going full on Westside with a bow tank + rocket launcher? Underwater lights, side scanning sonar, built in tuna tubes, eskimo ice/fish boxes, rigger-mounted cameras.......where does it end?

they all exist very nicely in the same box.

Hahahahahaha! Thanks guys!

Geez Lee i thought about those bottom paint/sticker squid schools hard but that memory i have of a big black going mental and puncturing the hull of the ol' 30 Grady i used to run chased those notions away for good i think!

Tom we are putting on a west coast style bow rail that extends down to amidships, not as high as the "BAD COMPANY" edition bow rails on the Vikings that they do at the same yard, more like the one i have on the 40 Cabo now. No side scanning sonar as i just don't find a need for one in PV that much. We have a side scanner on the 68 Pettigrew BOOMER that i run for Steve and i just don't feel like i catch more fish because of it.

Yes she has underwater lights, tuna tubes, all the bells and whistles you could imagine...even a stripper pole!

Just kidding...the boss vetoed the pole dognabbit!

Seth believe you me i am soaking in every nanosecond of this glorious adventure. I must have done something truly remarkable in my last life...saving burning babies or some other such act of heroism...to deserve this!
