Your Last Meal on Earth
You have one meal left on Earth......What is it, cooked by who and enjoyed with who?
I know I should have used 'whom" at least once above but I can never remember when to use 'whom' and 'who'. |

Pork Roast, Sweet potatoes, broccoli souffle, apple sauce with a small side of gnocchis, a nice hunk of bread, glass of iced tea to drink and a banana cake for desert. Cooked by mom. I don't think I would have much of an appetite though, so don't tell me that it's my last meal.

Appetizer: Cup of new england clam chowder, some steamed crabs to pick on
Main Course: Lobster Tails with Butter, Steamed Clams, Broiled Scallops, Stuffed Flounder, a nice center cut filet med-rare, garlic mash potatoes. Dessert: Cheesecake with some Fresh Blueberries on top. Brown Sundae with Vanilla Ice Cream I would eat every bit of it. |

It would all depend on where the last meal was being eaten...
Tough decision...The only constant would be a huge glass of fresh brewed UNSWEET ice tea w/ a half a lime or lemon, a true "greek salad", and an 18oz. Ribeye.
all of the following for appetizers- a) Fresh Mahi sandwiches "Sikorski style" with grilled zuc. and squash are tough to beat. Eaten off of fine China, on a filthy fish cooler, in the driveway of a million dollar open house. b) I imagine the Tuna steaks Mr. Pino was flippin over the gunnel would be a good choice, although I have never tried them. Just know a white Marlin thought they smelled good enough to attack. c) Wahoo fried in pancake batter. d) Bacon e) Grouper- whether it be in a grouper salad, grilled, fried, it just does not matter. It is the best fish to eat PERIOD. Want to be picky, make it a scamp and fry it in strawberry tempura. f) Vienna sausages grilled in a twenty degree duckblind and eggs poached in the vienna sausage cans. Sippin on old school bloody marys from a gallon milk jug when pops and uncle are shootin at ducks. g) anything Mom cooks. Option e) and g)would have to be added to the constant list the more I think about it. The list would be longer than above and I would attempt to keep eating forever just to prolong the end... Fillet mignon with both bernaise and blue cheese butter topped with about a pound of lobster... Hobo potatoes, a wedge of lettuce, a cup of vichysoise, a plate of big eye tataki, and a slice of apple pie made by my wife... Not just because shes the best cook I know but I love watching her play in the kitchen humming songs with her South African accent...
Of course I like her there to share it with me and if I get another wish... since its the last meal... I'd like it to be about seventy years from now. ![]() |
