Sunday was ribs with a dry rub of a few spices slow cooked on the Q for 2 hrs, then in the last 15 minutes I put a homemade sweet and garlicy sauce to them. Served with rice and a home made ceaser salad. (Lots of anchoives and garlic![]()
Monday was chicken drumsticks on the Q with another homemade spicey sauce on them with some veggies and the rest of the home ceaser dressing on some fresh romaine.
The rest of the week has been crap due to various reasons.
A black perch is a (saltwater) white perch (Morone americana) that has returned to freshwater (usually to spawn), it's coloration changes from a bright silver backed/white belly to a darker shade with very dark fins. Because a lot of these fish are mature females, they tend to be larger in size, but they are still bony...

Thanks ESANGLER..Your knowledge of finfishes and latin continues to baffle me.
[QUOTE=SAXIS ISLANDER;512826]there sir is the value of a Southern Education....
there was more to our college years at that small Southern University than our research into soriety girls and distilled grain products...thank God our apartment can not talk (if it is still standing)!
Speaking of distilled grain products, there is a new bottle of a corn, barley, and red winter wheat blend waiting for us at the wharf today after work...a cute little redhead
